A Production Engineer is needed in Midway, Georgia.
• Analyze manufacturing data, production capacity, and operational constraints to develop and manage production schedules for manufacturing automobile suspension and drivetrain components.
• Evaluate production workflow, machine utilization, and labor availability to optimize scheduling strategies and ensure efficient use of manufacturing resources while maintaining required production output and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, quality control, and supply chain teams to adjust production plans based on real-time operational data, material availability, and customer demand forecasts.
• Develop and implement data-driven production planning methods to improve throughput, reduce production bottlenecks, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Monitor production performance metrics and analyze statistical manufacturing data to identify operational inefficiencies, recommend process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare production reports and performance analyses to support management decision-making related to production planning, scheduling adjustments, and resource allocation.
• Ensure that production schedules and manufacturing operations comply with company quality standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulations applicable to automotive component manufacturing.
• Collaborate with management and technical teams to implement process and scheduling improvements that support cost reduction, production reliability, and on-time delivery of automotive components.
