Production Control & Quality Specialist Job

- Analyze, schedule, and coordinate Kyungshin America's production requirements to align with the demands of the new EV manufacturing line at the HMGMA facility, ensuring all contractual obligations are met while maintaining the highest standards in both company and industry benchmarks.
- Track inventory using the ERP EISS system, managing daily, weekly, and monthly operational procedures and production schedules for accurate transactions related to both EV parts and traditional automotive components.
- Prepare reports on incoming shipments and inspection results through WMS to ensure proper inventory management within the warehouse, focusing on the logistics of EV battery components and other critical parts.
- Monitor ERP EISS for production schedule guidance, including tracking production delays, outages, and increases in demand for EV components, and taking corrective actions as necessary to minimize production disruptions.
- Resolve quality issues and implement necessary adjustments in the production of both gas-powered and electric vehicle parts, including product design and specifications, prior to client meetings for sample approvals.
- Evaluate production processes and advise production workers on quality control measures to ensure that both automotive and EV components meet or exceed industry standards for safety, performance, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain production project information in a central database to manage resources for both conventional automotive production and the new EV lines, creating comprehensive test plans and coordinating with quality control teams.
- Utilize CAN analyzer to confirm vehicle signals and diagnose defects in both traditional vehicles and electric vehicle parts, ensuring accurate identification and resolution of issues within the EV manufacturing process.
- Assess ERP EISS and MES-based manufacturing execution systems for the new EV production lines to identify areas for improvement in production control and quality management, particularly in terms of meeting the unique requirements of electric vehicle manufacturing.
- Formulate and implement long-term strategic plans for production control to support Kyungshin America’s efforts in adapting to electric vehicle production while ensuring efficient, cost-effective production and procurement processes.
- Monitor automotive parts market trends, focusing on EV components, to stay updated on engineering standards, safety requirements, pricing changes, and evolving procedures in the growing electric vehicle industry .

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in production control, quality management, or a related role within the automotive or manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (specifically EISS) and MES-based systems
- Experience with CAN analyzer or similar diagnostic tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
