Production Control Engineer Job

A Production Control Engineer is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

• Analyze production engineering systems, including power circuits, electrical control panels, and power distribution systems, to support the manufacturing of automotive components, such as front and rear axle assembly, rear carrier assembly, half-shaft assembly, and cross grove joint for propeller shafts.
• Identify and resolve production-related issues, particularly electrical concerns, by preparing and organizing detailed reports on maintenance, adjustments, and test results to enhance system performance.
• Review and assess electrical engineering plans and layouts to ensure compliance with established engineering standards and relevant electrical codes.
• Coordinate weekly inspections of electrical control systems to maintain optimal functionality and quality throughout the production process.
• Monitor and evaluate the production process, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, improve productivity, and maintain alignment with budget and scheduling constraints.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation, including drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports, to develop and implement improved electrical equipment and systems for automotive parts production.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
