The Role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our hair care and body care products within the shower care category. This role will focus on managing new product innovation as well as optimizing existing products to align with our brand’s mission, market trends, and consumer needs. The ideal candidate has experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), a deep understanding of formulation and packaging considerations, and a passion for creating high-performance, sustainable products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development & Innovation: Drive end-to-end product development for new haircare products, from ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and consumer insights.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee changes to existing products, including formulation improvements, packaging updates, and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Packaging, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to bring products to market efficiently and effectively.
- Market & Consumer Insights: Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify whitespace opportunities and inform product development decisions.
- Project Management: Lead product development timelines, manage key milestones, and ensure seamless execution from concept to launch.
- Sustainability & Innovation: Partner with sustainability teams to ensure product innovations align with clean, eco-conscious formulations and packaging.
Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all product innovations meet industry standards and regulatory requirements for key global markets.
- P&L Management: Support pricing strategy, cost analysis, and margin optimization to ensure profitability of new and existing products.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years in product management, innovation, or brand management within beauty or personal care categories (Start-up experience is a plus).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of product formulation, packaging development, sourcing and procurement, manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance.
- Project Management Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive results.
- Consumer-Centric Mindset: Ability to translate consumer insights into successful product innovations.
- Analytical & Financial Acumen: Experience working with cost structures, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Strong Communication: Excellent ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion for Sustainability: Knowledge of clean beauty trends, sustainable packaging, and eco-conscious product development.
