Position Title: Product Designer II
Location: 1 Kingsbury Ave. Watertown, MA 02472
Position Responsibilities: Craft user-centered web experiences to solve customer and business problems, using Figma for interface design and prototyping. Independently lead design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring brand alignment and high visual standards across platforms. Collaborate with product squads, including product managers, developers, researchers, and stakeholders, using tools similar to Jira, Confluence, Lookback, and Datadog to deliver technically feasible solutions that support business objectives. Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and developer-ready mockups within an established design system to ensure scalable and consistent user interfaces. Support user testing using tools similar to Lookback and Datadog, and synthesized feedback to iterate on designs and improve usability. Communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders through presentations and documentation, contributing to product planning and team alignment.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Design Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: recruiting users & conducting user research to gather insights for design decisions; Figjam & Miro for ideation workshop, journey maps, & service blueprints; Figma for wireframing, interface design, & developer-ready mockups; building interactive prototypes to explore & validate design concepts; design systems in Figma for scalable & consistent UI across platforms; WCAG accessibility standards; responsive web design for multi-device compatibility; HTML, and; CSS. Travel to unanticipated client and other locations throughout the U.S. approximately 10%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
