Product AI Engineer Job

Job Overview
RemoteRecruit is sourcing a Product AI Engineer for a YC-backed startup developing AI agents for customer support across chat, email, voice, and WhatsApp. The company serves enterprise brands in Europe, the United States, and the GCC. This hands-on role combines approximately 70% product development and 30% customer interaction, with ownership from identifying problems to shipping and improving live features.

Key Responsibilities
Find product gaps, propose improvements, and help prioritize what to build.
Speak with users to understand real customer problems and translate feedback into product decisions.
Build and ship full-stack product features using TypeScript, React, and supporting backend and infrastructure technologies.
Own implementation from interface and backend development through testing and deployment.
Review code and maintain high standards for reliability, performance, and quality.
Measure whether shipped features solve the original problem and iterate as needed.
Collaborate with Customer Engineering to bring customer insights into the roadmap.

Qualifications & Requirements
3+ years of experience building and shipping software products at a software company.
Strong TypeScript and React skills, with the ability to own full-stack features independently.
Hands-on experience building AI agents that were deployed to production and used in real workflows; demos alone are insufficient.

Regular use of agentic AI coding tools as part of the engineering workflow.
Strong product judgment, speed of execution, and commitment to code quality.
Fluent English and confidence communicating directly with customers.
Ability to work fully on-site in Amman, Jordan.
