Principal Job

Manage U.S. and international healthcare consulting projects for U.S. and international biopharmaceutical company clients. Act as day-to-day contact for clients, moving from transaction management to deeper client management activities. Proactively research client’s focus and benchmarks across clients to identify ideas to support the client’s growth. Lead client engagements, manage project teams, and deliver consulting services to global life sciences clients. Serve as subject matter expert, providing strategic and technical guidance across commercial, regulatory, or operational subject matter topics within various therapeutic areas. Analyze client challenges and develop innovative, data-driven solutions tailored to attain business goals. Drive client relationship management, ensuring satisfaction and expanding service offerings across accounts. Develop internal talent through mentorship, performance feedback, and knowledge sharing. Present insights, proposals, and thought leadership through client presentations, publications, and professional events. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal experts and external stakeholders to support practice development. Lead business development efforts, including proposal development, networking, and strategic growth planning. Promote continuous improvement in service delivery, operational efficiency, and client engagement. Engage in annual business and budget planning to steer insights and analytics business unit.

*May telecommute up to 2 days a week

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field
Experience: Eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a consulting or business development role in the biopharmaceutical industry
Skills: integrating data analytics to create forecasting/financial models for pharmaceutical markets; analyzing international pharma markets to assess the ROI for product investment withing various distribution channels; conducting market research to identify new market opportunities for pharmaceutical products; analyzing company and market performance and advising pharmaceutical companies on repositioning product strategies; formulating strategic brand plans for pharmaceutical products with a patient centric focus; domain knowledge expertise of disease profiles and biopharmaceutical products

Alternative Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field
Experience: Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a consulting or business development role in the biopharmaceutical industry
