Job Description:
Serve as firmware development team lead with a high level of independent decision-making capability and supervision. Architect firmware running on embedded microcontrollers covering management, low level x86 drivers and UEFI/BIOS covering diagnostic and security features for complex SoC to meet variety of industry standards (PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, DDR, I2C, etc.) and numerous customer-specific requirements. Architect and specify test procedures and strategies for firmware and silicon quality analysis and validation. Define compliance procedures to ensure conformity to target specifications and industry standards. Work with industry standards consortiums and working groups contributing to open standards specifications. Engage with end customer(s) for product design and scope. Travel required to company headquarters in Santa Clara, CA about 3 times per year.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in job offered, or Firmware Engineer, or in a related occupation.

Job Requirements:
Academic training or work experience in the following:
1. C/C++ programming
2. Bash or Python
3. Working on ARM based ASICs, ARC, or X86
4. Firmware debugging using JTAG debuggers or low-level debugging using JTAG debuggers
5. Hands on knowledge of manageability protocols (PCIe, I2C, I3C, MCTP, NVMe/NVMe-MI, and SMBUS).
