Job Description:
Will be a contributing member of Arrcus, Inc.’s fast-paced engineering team responsible for designing, coding, troubleshooting, and implementing proprietary software feature systems in
connection with ArcOS and related intelligent network software solutions for enhanced IP/MPLS services; will design, create, implement, troubleshoot and provide overall computer software engineering functions in support of the company’s products and services which are currently leading innovation in the networking field; will oversee software engineering design, implementation, development, testing, and SQA support throughout the entire software development cycle, and by deriving software engineering solutions quickly and precisely with real-time reports and feedback from potential customers, will focus on supporting, reinforcing, and improving existing networking protocols; will meet with architects and customer support to address specific customer feature requests and other customer issues by integrating third party platform/ software/open-source libraries with current projects to improve existing functionality and meet fast changing trends in technology. Will develop and create services to be able to manage and control projects and data for the company’s internal use and provide a clean and reliable test environment for designers and the QA team; will code software using C programming language, develop new software on embedded systems and will specifically utilize Unicast routing (BGP4+, OSPF v2/v3), Multicast routing (PIM, Multicast over MPLS), IPv6 (6PE, 6VPE), MPLS related technologies, Unix/Linux environment, C/C++ programming language, TCP/IP stacks, Linux kernel networking stack, Broadcom SDK integration, routing and switching architecture; will contribute to ongoing and future projects based on support of
IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force - the governing standards body in the networking industry) standards.

Job Requirements:
MASTER'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, APPLIED COMPUTER SCIENCE, COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, OR RELATED DEGREE PLUS TWO YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
