Job Description:
• Analyzing operational data associated with power plants, fuels, emissions and system operation constraints. Collect and analyze data to develop and improve decision support PCI optimization solutions for energy utility companies.
• Provide project management for internal product development projects. Monitor market changes to align to products.
• Developing mathematical models to simulate power system operations. Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and optimization tools to interpret and solve customer requirements.
• Applying optimization methods for improving the efficiency of power systems operation and reducing power production.
• Forecasting, Data mining and statistical analysis to examine and interpret data.
• Validate business requirements mapping to capability and release plan, alignment of data and integration requirements, test scenarios mapping.
• BIRT Report designing using Java scripting.
• Forecast settlements giving front office Energy personnel the ability to rapidly adjust and improve their market participation strategies.
• Use skills include Pyhton, Matlab, Agile, R and VBA.

Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, or closely related field of study.
- Two years’ experience in risk management data analysis in energy market.
- Proficiency in firsthand trading, quantitative analysis, and risk modeling across a range of commodities, such as Natural Gas, LNG, Oil, Fuel Oil, Diesel, and Power.
- Programming proficiency in Python, MATLAB, R, and VBA
