Job Description:
Practice Manager is needed to perform the following duties :
• Organizational Leadership & Clinic Operations
• Lead the day-to-day operations of the physical therapy center with a focus on efficiency, quality, and service delivery.
• Implement systems to optimize patient intake, scheduling, and discharge processes.
• Ensure operational workflows align with public health administrative standards and clinical goals.
• Develop and enforce internal policies to maintain accreditation and compliance.
• Strategic & Administrative Management
• Participate in strategic planning, resource allocation, and clinic development initiatives.
• Align clinic objectives with broader population health goals and organizational mission.
• Prepare performance dashboards, operational reports, and cost-benefit analyses for leadership review.
• Manage contracts with third-party payers, vendors, and partners.
• Staff Oversight & Development
• Support clinical and administrative staff, promoting interdepartmental collaboration.
• Lead staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development planning.
• Foster a culture of accountability, equity, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor staff productivity metrics and initiate corrective action plans when needed.
• Financial & Resource Management
• Oversee clinic budget, financial planning, and expense control.
• Optimize billing processes and revenue cycle management in coordination with finance teams.
• Analyze payer mix and recommend strategies to maximize reimbursements and diversify income streams.
• Ensure responsible resource use while maintaining service quality.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Design and monitor quality assurance programs to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare/Medicaid, and local public health regulations.
• Conduct internal audits and lead quality improvement initiatives in line with public health standards.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to access, equity, and service delivery.
• Population Health & Community Integration
• Use public health data to tailor services to community needs and health disparities.
• Build partnerships with community organizations, referral sources, and local agencies.
• Organize outreach programs and initiatives promoting injury prevention, rehabilitation awareness, and wellness.
• Implement programs targeting underserved or high-risk populations in line with public health priorities.
• Policy Development & Health Systems Coordination
• Develop internal policies that reflect public health ethics, health equity, and service accessibility.
• Advocate for systems-level changes that improve operational efficiency and public health impact.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and health risk management protocols.
• Stay updated with public health legislation, healthcare trends, and regulatory changes impacting physical therapy practices.
• Technology & Information Systems
• Oversee EMR/EHR implementation and optimization to support evidence-based practice.
• Leverage data analytics to guide clinical and operational decisions.
• Ensure proper training for staff in technology use and data privacy standards.
Bachelor Degree is required in Healthcare Administration or Public Health
