• Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience is an asset
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and work efficiently under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills with a client-focused attitude
Responsibilities
• Install and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings, including condo units and common areas.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to understand plumbing layouts, water supply systems, and drainage systems.
• Measure and mark locations for pipe installations, fittings, and fixture connections in walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors as required to install pipes and plumbing components safely and accurately.
• Assemble and connect pipes using appropriate tools, fittings, and joining methods such as soldering and sealing.
• Determine pipe sizing and plumbing system requirements according to project specifications and building needs.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to fit installation requirements.
• Conduct testing on plumbing systems and pipes to identify leaks and ensure proper operation and water pressure.
