Job Description:
Clairmont Mechanical Contracting Ltd. is looking for full time Plumber Helpers at 19122 27 Ave #6, Surrey, BC V3Z 5T1, Canada. There are 4 positions available.
Main duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Assist in aligning pipes and perform related activities
• Perform other activities at work sites as directed
• Assist with Installation of plumbing fixtures and systems
• Remove debris and move equipment on job sites
• Assist with cutting opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
• Assist tradespersons, mainly plumbers on various jobs
• Assist with measuring and cutting pipes using hand and power tools
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and other equipment necessary for the jobs
• Assist in aligning pipes
Hours of work are 40 hours a week Mon-Fri (overtime pay after 40 hours). Pay is $24.00 per hour. Successful candidates must speak English. No education and at least 6 months of experience is required.
