The successful candidates will assist plumbers on residential and commercial job sites and support daily installation, repair, and maintenance activities. Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland, BC and/or as per company’s contracts

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Carry materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Measure, cut, and prepare pipes and fittings under the direction of a plumber.
• Help locate and mark positions for pipe connections, fixtures, and openings in walls and floors.
• Prepare work areas by setting up equipment, protecting surfaces, and cleaning job sites.
• Support testing of plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation using air and water pressure equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing basic plumbing issues such as clogged drains or leaking fixtures.
• Follow instructions from plumbers and supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
• Observe and comply with workplace safety procedures, job-site rules, and company policies.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support daily work activities.
• Perform other related plumbing helper duties, as assigned, to support timely completion of projects.

Education, Experience and Skills required

• Previous experience in plumbing, construction, or related trade is an asset; however, training will be provided to suitable candidates with no prior experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with team members.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and carry out assigned tasks under supervision.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, as required by job sites and project schedules.
