Schedule: Sun–Thurs or Sat–Wed | 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Job Summary:
The PLC Electronics Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining PLCs, HMIs, motor control systems, and communication networks to ensure the smooth functioning of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Test and diagnose faulty electronic equipment using tools/software.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Troubleshoot, repair, and install PLCs, HMIs, and inverter control packages.
Maintain and install fiber and copper communication networks.
Collaborate with IT on data transfer/reporting.

Provide documentation, SOPs, and training to support operations.
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEC codes.
Respond to after-hours calls as needed.

Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Adhere to all safety, food safety, and GMP standards.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum 2 years' experience in PLC, HMI, and motor control system development, installation, and troubleshooting.
Specialized training in:

PLC programming (ladder logic, function block, statement list)
HMI configuration (screen layout, animation, alarms)
Documentation and program structure
Electrical and mechanical diagram interpretation

Skills:
Strong diagnostic and analytical ability.
Understanding of industrial codes (NEC, NFPA, IEC).
Able to work independently and flexible hours as needed.
