Play N Learn Daycare is seeking F/T Early Childhood Educators Job

Position Info:

• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $22.50~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 3
• Work Location: 3839 Thurston Street, Burnaby, BC V5H 1H9

Job Duties:

• Design and implement childcare programs focused on enhancing children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth
• Organize and lead daily activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and physical activities
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment that supports children’s well-being
• Assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs, and communicate their progress or challenges to parents and colleagues
• Monitor children closely and provide reports to parents, guardians, or supervisors regarding any potential learning or behavioral issues
• Assist children with daily routines including proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
• Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers

Job requirements:

• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Language: English
