Job Title: Plasma Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plasma Machine Operator to join our team in Guelph, ON. As a Plasma Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a plasma cutting machine to cut and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications. If you have a strong background in plasma cutting and are proficient in reading imperial and metric measurements, we want to hear from you!

Must-Haves:
Proven experience as a Plasma Machine Operator
Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and specifications in both imperial and metric units
Strong understanding of plasma cutting technology and operation
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues

Responsibilities:
Operate a plasma cutting machine to cut and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate cuts
Prepare workpieces for cutting by cleaning, degreasing, and clamping
Set cutting parameters, such as speed, pressure, and gas flow rate, to achieve desired cut quality and accuracy
Monitor the cutting process, adjust settings as needed, and troubleshoot issues
Inspect cut parts for quality control purposes
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance

Proven experience as a Plasma CNC Machine Operator
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Must have over head crane experience
