Plant Operations Manager Job

A Plant Operations Manager is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

• Direct overall plant operations for manufacturing of automotive HVAC systems and parts.
• Establish operational policies and procedures in production and plant management and direct implementation of such policies and procedures.
• Approve budgets and expenditures for production activities such as materials purchasing, and personnel management.
• Oversee production activities including scheduling, quality control, material handling, and equipment maintenance to ensure efficiency.
• Establish and direct production process and plant maintenance operations to ensure productivity in manufacturing process.
• Manage human resources and make personnel decisions such as hiring, firing, promotions, disciplinary actions, salary increase, and approval of leaves requests.
• Manage production activities by implementing and administering production schedules, safety initiatives, and quality improvement measures.
• Assure the production complies with health and safety regulations, union requirements, and insurance terms.

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of managerial experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry
