Plant Maintenance Electrician Job

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on plant equipment and systems
Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using meters, diagnostic tools, and schematics
Work with 24V and 120V control systems, including sensors, relays, and PLC-related components
Maintain and repair electric motors, including starters, overloads, VFD-related controls, and general wiring
Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
Support plant operations by responding to equipment breakdowns and performing preventive maintenance
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:

Required:

Solid understanding of electrical controls
Strong motor knowledge (AC motors, motor controls, starters, VFDs, etc.)
Proficient troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently
Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical schematics
Minimum 2 years of maintenance electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Preferred:

Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent certification)
Experience in a plant or production facility
Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems
