Overview:
Primary Rehab Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist health care professionals, support patients through their treatment programs, and manage routine office functions in a fast-paced medical clinic. This is an on-site position requiring physical capability and attention to detail, as well as excellent organizational and patient interaction skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist health care professionals
2. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
3. Help physical therapists
4. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine
5. Set up and dismantle equipment
6. Clean and maintain equipment
7. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
8. Order and purchase equipment
9. Plan physiotherapy programs
10. Maintain supplies
11. Assist chiropractor with physical examinations
12. Document patient rehabilitation progress
13. Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
14. Schedule and confirm appointments
15. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
16. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
17. Order supplies and equipment
18. Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements:
• Education: College/CEGEP, preferably in Physical Therapy Technician/Assistant.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a relevant setting.
• Physical ability to manage tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Skills: Hand-eye coordination, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and physical dexterity.
Work Conditions:
• Fast-paced environment, involving physical exertion and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to distinguish colors, attention to detail, and capability to work while standing, bending, or kneeling.
