Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment. In this role, you will work closely with the Physical Therapist to implement patient treatment plans and support rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
Assist PTs in executing treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function
Monitor patient progress and document care provided
Educate patients and families on exercises and therapy goals
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
Active PTA license in the state of assignment (or ability to obtain)
Completion of an accredited PTA program
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred
Contract Details
13-week contract
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute meal break)
Guaranteed 32 hours/week
No perm conversion requirement
