Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

Ontario Pain Clinics is seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician / Physiatrist to join our growing multidisciplinary pain management team in Ontario.

This position is ideal for a physician interested in providing comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients with chronic musculoskeletal, neurological, and pain-related conditions, including the opportunity to perform image-guided interventional procedures.

Position Responsibilities

The successful physician will:

Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with chronic musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans aimed at improving function, mobility, and quality of life.
Manage conditions including chronic back and neck pain, radiculopathy, degenerative spinal conditions, neuropathic pain, joint disorders, and other complex pain conditions.
Perform or participate in interventional pain procedures where appropriately trained, including fluoroscopy-guided spinal and joint injections.
Perform ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections where applicable.
Review diagnostic imaging and investigations, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and electrodiagnostic studies.
Coordinate care with family physicians, anesthesiologists, neurologists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide recommendations regarding rehabilitation, medication management, physical therapy, and interventional treatment options.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate consultation recommendations to referring physicians.
Qualifications
Medical degree and postgraduate training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Eligible for or currently holding registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification, or eligibility through an applicable CPSO registration pathway.
Experience in chronic pain, musculoskeletal medicine, spine care, or interventional procedures is an asset.
Experience performing fluoroscopy-guided procedures is strongly preferred but training opportunities may be available for suitable candidates.
