Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician – Toronto Interventional Pain Clinic
Location: Toronto Interventional Pain Clinic
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation: $125.00 per hour
Payment Model: Fee-for-Service
Toronto Interventional Pain Clinic is currently seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to join our growing multidisciplinary pain management team. We are looking for a qualified and motivated physician with an interest in assessing and treating patients with chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, functional limitations, mobility concerns, neuropathic pain, and rehabilitation-related conditions.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced pain physicians, interventional specialists, and clinical support staff in a modern outpatient clinic environment focused on improving patient function, mobility, quality of life, and long-term pain management outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with physical, musculoskeletal, neurological, and pain-related conditions. Duties may include performing comprehensive consultations, developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations, providing follow-up care, and collaborating with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals.
The physician may assess and manage patients with chronic pain, back and neck pain, soft tissue injuries, sports injuries, neuropathic pain, radiculopathy, arthritis-related pain, post-injury functional limitations, and other rehabilitation needs.
The physician will also be expected to maintain accurate medical records, communicate effectively with referring physicians, and contribute to a professional, patient-centered clinical environment.
Qualifications
Applicants must be eligible for or currently hold registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Candidates should have training and experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with an interest in chronic pain management, musculoskeletal medicine, functional restoration, or interventional pain care considered an asset.
Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinic setting are required.
Compensation and Schedule
This is a full-time position based on 40 hours per week, with compensation at $125.00 per hour under a fee-for-service payment model. Scheduling may be flexible depending on clinic needs and physician availability.
