Position: Pharmacy Store Manager (NOC 60020)

Duties:
1. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily retail operations of the pharmacy to ensure efficient and compliant business operations.
2. Recruit, hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate pharmacy assistants, cashiers, and other retail staff.
3. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve customer service, productivity, and overall business performance.
4. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate purchasing, maintain relationships with suppliers, and ensure adequate stock of pharmaceutical and retail products.
5. Monitor sales performance, prepare operational reports, and recommend strategies to improve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
6. Develop and manage operating budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
7. Plan and coordinate merchandising displays, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives to increase customer traffic and sales.
8. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints, authorize merchandise returns, and ensure high standards of customer service.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, provincial regulations, health and safety standards, and retail pharmacy operating procedures.
Requirements:
1. A college diploma or university degree in business administration, retail management, pharmacy or a related field is an asset. License as a Pharmacist is highly desired.
2. At least 3 years of experience as a pharmacy store manager or similar role. Experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare environment is preferred.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
4. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale systems.
