Tasks
Assist dietitians or nutritionists plan and supervise food service operations
Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine
Set up and dismantle equipment
Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians
Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages
Clean and maintain equipment
Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
Design and fabricate ocular implants
Design, build, fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic appliances
Lay out surgical instruments
Label and process donated blood
Collect statistics
Clean and restore ocular prostheses
Advise patients on care and use of ocular prostheses
