C.Choi Pharmacy Ltd. o/a Shoppers Drug Mart in Osoyoos is seeking a dedicated, positive, and self-motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.
Work Location: 8305 Main St, Osoyoos, BC V0H 1V0
Position: Pharmacy Assistant
Wage: $25.00 per hour
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (including weekends and evenings)
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Benefits: 4% vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation per year
Responsibility:
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and completeness before processing
• Input patient information and prescription details into the pharmacy database
• Support pharmacists and staffs with the preparation, packaging, and labelling of medications
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of drugs and other pharmaceutical products
• Handle medical billing transactions and related administrative tasks when required
• Assist with pricing, stocking, and organizing items on pharmacy shelves
Job Requirements:
• Completion of Pharmacy Assistant College program (6-12 months) OR completion of secondary school
• At least 2 year of work experience as a Pharmacy assistant is required
• Ability to work quickly, multitask and work well under pressure in a team environment
• Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekends
• Working knowledge of English
