Job Description:
A Pharmacy Assistant provides essential clerical and non-clinical support to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. They handle frontline customer service, manage inventory, and assist with script preparation to ensure safe, efficient pharmacy operations.
Job Requirements:
Location: 102-2045 Mayor Magrath Drive S Lethbridge, ABT1K 2S2
Salary: 17.00 to 25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 32 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment / Full time
Schedule: Evening, Flexible hours, Night, Day, Weekend
Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities and Tasks
Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate
Enter client information in databases
Help pharmacists
Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
Maintain prescription records
Prepare medications for clients
Clean, maintain equipment and maintain supplies
Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
Help with scheduling and workflow
Bill third party insurers
Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation
Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
Order supplies and equipment
Organize and maintain inventory
Schedule and confirm appointments
Computer and technology knowledge
