Pharmacy Assistant Job

Main Duties
• Gather and enter patients' information and doctor’s prescriptions into the system
• Assess prescriptions for completeness
• Prepare and package prescription medications
• Compound non-sterile pharmaceutical products
• Prepare prescriptions under Pharmacist's supervision
• Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescriptions and managing patients' files and records.
• Maintain proper drug storage and security
• Place and receive orders for stock to maintain inventory
• May process medical billing information
• May price and stock items on shelves
Number of Vacancies

Full Time (Permanent)
40 hours/week
Young applicants will be preferred.
Education and experience
• 12 Grade
• 1-2 years of relevant industry experience

Salary
$20/hour
Benefits
• Overtime Pay (1.5 times the hourly wage after 40 hours of work in a week)
• Vacation Pay as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay)
