Pharmacy Assistant Job

2855837 Ontario Inc. o/a Bracebridge Compounding Pharmacy is looking for a full time Pharmacy Assistant at Unit 5&6-200 Manitoba St., Bracebridge, ON P1L 2E2 Canada. There is 1 position available.

Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Assess prescriptions for completeness
• Enter clients’ information and prescription details in databases
• Help pharmacists and other pharmacy staff with preparing, packaging and labelling of pharmaceutical products
• Assist in maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
• Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
• May process medical billing information
• May price and stock items on shelves.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday and half-day on Saturdays, as per pharmacy’s operating hours (overtime paid after 44 hours/week). Pay is $23/hour. Successful candidates must speak English; French is an asset. Minimum required education is completed high school and minimum work experience is 6 months hands on experience in a related field; on-the-job training will be provided.
