Pharmacist - Clinical Job

The Clinical Pharmacist provides professional pharmaceutical services in the inpatient setting to patients, healthcare providers, and hospital staff. The Clinical Pharmacist ensures optimal pharmaceutical therapy outcomes and prospectively develops pharmaceutical plans and medication therapy education for each patient. All activities are done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations with the health and welfare of the patient paramount . Central staffing (order processing and medication distribution) will be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited ACPE school of pharmacy is required
• Previous experience with pediatric patients in a hospital setting is required
• Current license or license eligible to practice as a registered pharmacist in Texas
• CPR - BLS is required, PALS required for critical care areas only

This Clinical Pharmacist posting is for two Full Time positions:

1). CRITICAL CARE setting (e.g. NICU, PICU, CICU, and potentially ED and Nutrition Service)

2.) GENERAL setting (e.g. general pediatrics, surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology and nephrology)
