Per Diem Credentialing Specialist (Remote) Job

PhyxUp Health is a healthcare technology startup helping physical therapy clinics deliver Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) across the United States. We work closely with outpatient rehab clinics to improve patient engagement, compliance, and operational efficiency through technology-enabled care. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to support provider enrollment and payer setup processes.

Position Overview
This is a remote per diem role for someone with hands-on experience in healthcare credentialing, payer enrollment, and clearinghouse setup. You’ll help support physical therapy clinics and providers with insurance enrollment and billing-related onboarding tasks.

We’re looking for someone responsive, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving to a startup environment.

Responsibilities
- Provider credentialing and payer enrollments
- ERA/EDI enrollment setup
- Clearinghouse setup and troubleshooting
- ClaimMD configuration and maintenance
- CAQH management and attestations
- EFT/ERA enrollment coordination
- Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollments
- Payer portal setup and maintenance
- Follow up with insurance payers on pending enrollments
- Maintain accurate provider enrollment records

Qualifications
- Prior experience with healthcare credentialing and payer enrollment
- Experience with physical therapy clinics preferred
- Familiarity with ClaimMD, CAQH, and clearinghouse workflows
- Knowledge of ERA/EDI and EFT setup
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Experience working remotely is a plus
