Payroll Specialist Job

Responsibilities:

Processes payroll; summarizes, examines, posts, verifies, and reconciles payroll data
Maintains annual and quarterly payroll reports, including a complete record of payroll transactions
Coordinates, calculates, and posts adjusting entries to appropriate subaccounts as approved by supervisor
Reconciles reports including, but not limited to, taxes, retirement, and vendor accounts
Recommends, prepares, and documents changes in payroll processing procedures
Comments/Special Instructions:

This is not a remote position
Candidates must have previous payroll experience (not necessarily ADP) - 5 years preferred
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred but not necessary
Knowledge and experience of payroll processes, laws, and taxes required
We would like to find someone who may be interested in a permanent position after their assignment
Written & verbal communication skills required
