• Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 203-3991 Henning Dr, Burnaby, BC V5C 6N5
Benefits:
• 4 % vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Make wax bite-blocks and impression trays for fitting use
• Melt and pour metal alloys, including gold and stainless steel, to form bridges and denture bases
• Craft plaster casts and molds based on dental impressions
• Fill and set plastic materials in molds to create full or partial dentures
• Model wax over denture setups to define realistic gum shapes
• Create orthodontic bands from metals such as gold, silver, or stainless steel
• Smooth, polish, and buff metal frameworks and dentures for a natural finish
Job Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in dental technology industry is required
