World Olivet Assembly, Inc. seeks the Pastor for the following duties:
General Pastoral Duties: (20%)
? Create a positive environment for the growth of the congregation's faith and provide professional faith counseling.
? Intervene in crisis-stricken congregation members to help resolve interpersonal and communication issues within the church.
? Counseling on the spiritual, emotional, or personal needs of the congregation.
? Lead fellowship among the congregation members and build relationships between the congregation and visitors through fellowship with the congregation.
Provide Spiritual Leadership to Church Members: (20%)
? Provide Bible text research and Bible study according to the situation of the organization and provide guidance and direction for missions.
? Prepare daily QT, Sermon and provide spiritual inspiration to the congregation through leads.
? Prepare sermons and pray for the congregation to provide spiritual counseling and guidance to church members.
Create mission strategies and encourage the participation of the congregation: (20%)
? Form relationships and networks with other pastors.
? Seek mission strategies for local churches, discuss implementation plans with the congregation, and implement them.
Pastoral activities for church members: (20%)
? Provide care and counseling to church members and help in crisis situations.
? Plan sports fellowships and plan and conduct various church events.
? Officiate special events in the life of the congregation, such as weddings, baptisms, and funerals.
Support church ministry by handling missionary care and administrative tasks: (10%)
? Help missionaries visiting local churches recover spiritually.
? Assist and intercede for missionaries who request administrative support.
Provide leadership in planning and implementing adult education programs and other strategic goals and visions: (10%)
? Develop and conduct research on Christian education programs for adults and youth.
? Develop specific QTJs and establish and implement other strategic goals and vision plans.
* Master’s degree in Divinity is required.
* Certification of Ordination as a Pastor is required.
