Job Description:
Must haves:
* Part 119 - Part 135 Operations Background:
* Background in both Part 119 and Part 135 operations.
* Experience in a smaller company environment.
* Maintenance Department Growth:
* Previous involvement in growing out a maintenance department.
* Director of Maintenance (DOM) Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Director of Maintenance (DOM).
* Previous experience in a company that underwent exponential growth.
* Local Candidate Preference:
* Local candidate preferred.
* Relocation is considered but not the preferred option.

What you will do:
* Aircraft Maintenance Oversight:
* Oversee aircraft maintenance activities, including overhaul, modifications, maintenance, and repairs.
* Regulatory Compliance:
* Ensure that all work adheres to regulatory standards, including 14 CFR Parts 43, 91, 119, and 135, as well as company operations and maintenance procedures.
* Business Communication:
* Conduct business matters related to CRAFT with aircraft owners, vendors, clients, employees, and the FAA.
* Air Carrier Certificate Management:
* Add or delete aircraft from the Air Carrier Certificate and maintain the required records.
* Inspection Coordination:
* Coordinate required inspections on all CRAFT aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulations, airworthiness directives, manufacturer's procedures, and good operating practices.
* Maintenance Scheduling:
* Schedule CRAFT aircraft maintenance on a priority basis, considering flight schedules and parts availability.
* Subcontracted Maintenance Oversight:
* Ensure subcontracted maintenance by third-party technicians conforms to the Company's General Maintenance Manual and applicable FARs.
* Regulatory Liaison:
* Act as the primary liaison to the FAA and other regulatory bodies.
* Recordkeeping:
* Ensure that all required aircraft maintenance records are maintained in a current status.
* Personnel Management:
* Direct, coordinate, review, and evaluate the productivity of maintenance department personnel to ensure safe, on-time, and allocated maintenance activities.
* Resource Provision:
* Provide personnel, facilities, equipment, and tools necessary for achieving goals related to aircraft availability.
* Communication with Operations:
* Maintain close liaison with the Director of Operations and the COO, providing current aircraft status, forecasting downtimes, reporting mechanical irregularities, and scheduling maintenance.
* Safety Committee and Emergency Response Team Participation:
* Serve as the maintenance representative on the Safety Committee and as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
* Weight and Balance Records:
* Maintain weight and balance records for all CRAFT aircraft.
