Painter Job

Double A Painting Ltd. located in Victoria, BC is looking for 1 Painter to join its team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• This position includes the preparation and painting of both interior and exterior surfaces in residential, commercial, multifamily complexes and heritage buildings
• Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, filling and caulking to repair imperfections and prepare various surfaces for the application of coatings
• Read and follow the specifications in the work order and follow the direction of your Foreman or Supervisor
• Apply paint or other materials, such as primers or stains, using brushes, rollers or spray equipment
• Safely use ladders and elevated work platforms to perform the required tasks
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area and clean up at the end of each day

Job Requirements:-
Education: High School education is required
Experience:
Completion of a three to four-year apprenticeship program
Or
2 years of work experience in the trade.

Language: English

Job Location: All over Victoria, depending on contract

Salary: $37 per hour for 30 to 40hrs/week
