is in need of PAINT PREP LABOURER
NOC Code: 75119
Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Foremost Equipment LP has an immediate opening for a Paint Prep Labourer in their Stettler facility. You will be responsible for supporting the preparation and application of high-grade finishes for their Hydrovac product line. This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes and oils. Working conditions include working at heights up to 14’ as well as confined areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with minimal direction to all written or verbal work instructions
2. Prepares materials for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking or any other operations required before or after painting
3. Operate basic hand tools and job specific power tools related to activates
4. Operate and service equipment with associated with blasting and paint prep
5. General housekeeping
6. Performs all tasks related to their classification in accordance with safe work practices and applicable legislation
7. Comply with all WHMIS and environmental regulations regarding the storage, use and disposal of hazardous chemicals
8. Perform other related duties as required
Working Hours: 9-10 hours/day; shift will vary between days and nights from Monday to Sunday;
2-3 days off on varied days
Wage/Benefits: $24.16/hour; Extended Medical, Dental and Disability Insurance

Employment Requirements:
• Education: Some secondary school is required
• Work Experience: Experience an asset but willing to train the right applicant
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, with the ability to give and take clear direction; verbal and written
• Safety training an asset but willing to train as required
• Detail oriented and willing to function as part of a highly motivated team
• Must pass pre-employment physical demands and abilities assessment
