Paint & Body Shop Lead Job

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Superintendent of Maintenance, the Body and Paint Shop Lead provides direction to a group of skilled technicians to ensure painting and repairs are performed within compliance.

MAJOR TASKS:
• Writes up minor and major truck and trailer collision estimates at the insurance level.
• Establishes and maintains customer base and ensures positive customer satisfaction.
• Organizes, maintains, and purchases parts and materials.
• Implements accurate customer invoicing processes.
• Provides directions to technicians to ensure all work is performed in a safe and timely manner.
• Manages work orders and personnel scheduling.
• Maintains work area appearance and safety.
• Other assigned duties.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Degree or GED.
• Knowledge of heavy truck collision and repair processes.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20lbs.
• Position requires constant standing, forward reaching, grasping and finger manipulation.
• Must wear personal protection equipment as required: safety glasses, boots, eye and ear protection or respirator.
