Job Description:
1. Assist elderly clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation
3. Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
4. Assist with medication reminders as prescribed (no medical administration unless authorized)
5. Monitor and report changes in the client’s health condition, behavior, or mobility to family members or healthcare professionals
6. Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment
7. Support clients with transfers, walking, and use of mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.)
8. Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands
9. Maintain personal hygiene standards and infection control practices
10. Follow care plans and respect client dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences
11. Provide basic first aid in emergencies and seek medical assistance when required
12. Keep daily activity logs and care records as required by the employer or family
