We are expanding our excellent team of eye care professionals in our state-of-the-art clinic, and WE WANT YOU TO JOIN US! We are looking for a positive, detail-oriented, proactive candidate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and assist them in completing initial paperwork.
Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for optometric exams.
Perform preliminary screening tests such as visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, and intraocular pressure.
Administer diagnostic tests as instructed by the optometrist, such as retinal imaging or visual field testing.
Assist with contact lens fittings and instruct patients on proper insertion, removal, and care techniques.
Maintain and sterilize optometric instruments and ensure examination rooms are clean and stocked with supplies.
Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records.
Educate patients on eyewear options, lens selection, and frame styling based on prescriptions.
Handle billing and insurance processing related to patient visits.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
