Optometric Assistant Job

Dr. A. Dumalo Optometric Corp. Operating as Dumalo Optometry located at 156 East 15th Street, North Vancouver, BC, V7L 2R1 requires one Permanent & Full Time Optometric Assistant. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.

Job Duties:
• Confirm & Schedule appointment with patients
• Answering customer enquiries & requests via phone call or email
• Assist Optometrists
• Maintain patient records
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient tests
• Clean and maintain work equipment
• Process claims and health insurance
• Maintain inventory & equipment
• Order supplies & equipment
• Perform other administrative tasks as directed

Education: High school completion is required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of Positions: 1
Wage: $24.00 per hour for 40 hours per week.
