Operations Research Analyst Job

An Operations Research Analyst is needed in Valley, Alabama.

• Monitor allocation and availability of import materials to ensure smooth operations in providing logistics services such as warehousing and distribution, import and export, truck-ing, shipment tracking and tracing, and custom processing services.
• Develop and apply mathematical and statistical models to analyze complex business prob-lems and processes to ensure smooth operations in providing logistics services such as warehousing and distribution, import and export, trucking, shipment tracking and tracing, and custom processing services.
• Perform validation and testing of logistics operations models to ensure adequacy, and refor-mulate models, as necessary.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize operations, such as supply chain management, resource allocation, and production schedules.
• Identify operational issues and inefficiencies by analyzing data and understanding business processes.
• Propose and implement solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes in logistics operations.
• Develop business methods and procedures, including accounting systems, file systems, of-fice systems, logistics systems, and production schedules.

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field of study.
