Job Description:
Collect, process and perform statistical data analysis to evaluate and optimize operations workflow within the company. Identify sources of operational and business challenges.
Create and implement databases and systems to support process improvement. Convert complex data finds into meaningful visualizations to better inform management decisions. Report
findings with actionable recommendations to management to improve critical decision-making.
Detailed job duties:
• Distill data into easily digestible formats that provide actionable insights. Provide ad-hoc analytics regarding operations in the food wholesale/distribution industry and query support to
internal teams.
• Conduct data analysis using Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) and SQL to identify market trends, customer patterns, and competitive landscapes within the food
wholesale/distribution industry to improve decision-making.
• Set up Enterprise Resource Planning system to optimize order tracking, inventory levels, production, streamline logistics operations processes, reduce costs, and enhance the reliability
of the supply chain.
• Employ statistical software tools such as R, Python, and Excel to examine raw data to forecast and make predictions for potential business outcomes, factoring in seasonal trends,
expected sales, and potential uncertainties to produce a cost-benefit analysis.
• Conduct comprehensive financial and risk-based analysis to support company operations in financial planning and risk strategic decision-making.
• Build timesheet tracking systems to analyze categorized team members work time on projects and compare against reported performance.
• Use analytical tools to align team members strengths with project breakdown tasks to improve business efficiency.
• Utilize data visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to present analytical results with complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
• Prepare thorough and insightful reports to regularly evaluate current operational issues and recommend alternative courses of action or solutions.
• Employ techniques like dashboard creation, interactive charts, and advanced data modeling to enhance the understanding and decision-making process.
• Build and maintain databases that model company’s operational structure and support visualization of logistics procedures.
• Outline new operational procedures using data visualization tools Tableau and Power BI to enhance efficiency within company and monitor progress of implementation.
• Record implementation progress, obstacles, and team members’ feedback.
• Support and coordinate across different teams to optimize business operations management.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in operations research and analytics.

Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Applied Analytics, or related and 24 months of experience in job offered or related experience in operational management.
