Operations Research Analyst Job

1. Leverage analytical abilities to look beyond the numbers and understand end-user, perform qualitative and quantitative e-commerce vertical's research analysis and the related ad hoc analysis to identify payment opportunities as well as targeted online merchants and partner behaviors (20%)
2. Conduct mathematical and statistical modeling data analysis & visualization via Excel and Tableau by applying into our merchants’ info database which includes merchants’ sales, order volumes, fee rate, industry categories, business locations, e-com platforms, etc. Formulate and optimize Citcon payment product strategies, pricing strategies, and Go-to-Market strategies for the company’s e-commerce business based on the analysis; instrument, track and forecast key engagement metrics and present findings in easy-to-consume dashboards (20%)
3. Gather payment services required documents, integration issues, and user experience from online e-commerce merchants, coordinate with the tech team, product team, and sales team closely to execute payment integration with sound user experience, up-selling & cross-selling, and convert more sales; work closely with marketing and product managers to identify and measure the impact of features on key engagement metrics and help shape product strategy and execution (20%)
4. Improve management efficiency and solve ongoing operational issues by creating standard process flows (such as payment products selling and integration process) and support products launch process with smooth operations factoring in payment risk, partners’ resources, users’ sentiment, and other business requirements; regularly update stakeholders about the state of engagement and explain variance in performance through weekly and monthly communications (15%)
5. Monitor current online business sales performance, project merchants' conversion rate, and work as a point of contact in assisting merchants using Citcon payment services; Active mine data from SQL databases to develop predictive models (15%)
6. Build complex and multi-layered forecasts in Excel and/or Google Sheets for business planning; design and implement tests (A/B and multivariate) to understand drivers of engagement; support ongoing analysis and monitoring of business performance (10%)

Requires Master’s degree in Analytics or Business Analytics plus one year work experience in the job offered or Risk Analyst or Business Analyst or closely related.
