Job offer details:
Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week)
Compensation: $65.00 per hour
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the locksmith industry, including extensive knowledge of commercial, residential, automotive, and emergency locksmith services, as well as the day-to-day operation of a locksmith business.
- Completion of secondary school is required; a college diploma or university degree in business administration, management, or a related field is an asset.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the overall operations of the locksmith business to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and business strategies to support the company's short- and long-term objectives.
- Allocate human, financial, and material resources to maximize operational efficiency and achieve business goals.
- Oversee the delivery of commercial, residential, automotive, emergency locksmith, access control, safe, and security services, ensuring work is completed in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
- Establish and monitor financial and administrative controls, including budgeting, cost management, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Review operational, financial, and sales reports to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective measures.
- Direct recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of locksmith technicians and administrative staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, property managers, contractors, suppliers, and other business partners, and represent the company in negotiations and business development activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, licensing requirements, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies.
