Job Duties:
· Oversee Operations: Ensure the smooth running of all daily activities related to medical supplies, including procurement, storage, and distribution.
· Supervise Staff: Lead and guide teams in areas like records management, purchasing, HR, and finance, helping them perform their tasks effectively.
· Ensure Compliance: Make sure all operations follow industry regulations (like FDA rules) and company policies to guarantee safety and quality.
· Manage Budgets: Control spending on contracts, equipment, and supplies to keep costs in check while maintaining quality.
· Monitor Performance: Regularly assess how well the department is running and find ways to improve efficiency and quality.
· Prepare Reports: Create simple reports to update management on how operations are performing and any issues that need attention.
· Recruit and Train Staff: Hire new employees and ensure they receive the proper training to do their jobs safely and effectively.
· Manage Inventory: Oversee the tracking, storage, and timely delivery of medical supplies, making sure nothing is lost or wasted.
· Streamline Processes: Identify and implement improvements to make workflows faster and more efficient.
· Coordinate Teams: Work with different departments (logistics, HR, finance) to ensure all parts of the operation run smoothly together.
· Manage Suppliers: Make sure vendors deliver quality products on time and within budget by maintaining strong relationships.
· Conduct Audits: Ensure regular checks are done to confirm that all activities meet the necessary regulations and company standards.
