Job Description:
Stark Group Ltd. is a manufacturer of various types of special armored vehicles. The company also provides a range of services related to vehicle modifications, laser cutting, etc.
At this time, we are seeking an Operations Manager to assume full operational control functions.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan, direct, control and oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations
• Ensure standard operating procedures are adhered to and quality standards are met and upheld
• Manage the company’s resources to improve productivity and efficiency
• Manage and control operational and overhead budgets and execute action plans to drive efficiencies
• Plan and implement proper quality control systems
• Monitor and regulate staffing needs to ensure optimum staffing levels are supporting business demands
• Provide progress and cost reports, requests and improvement suggestions to senior management
• Address and resolve operational issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 5 years of supervisory/ managerial experience in the production/ manufacturing environment
• Experience in the automotive sector is a strong asset
• Strong decision making, problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluent English
WORK CONDITIONS:
• Permanent, full-time position
• $51.30 per hour
• 35 hours of work per week. Occasional overtime may be required with applicable overtime pay ($76.95) after 44 hours of work per week.
