Title of the Position: Operations Chief
Number of Positions Available: 1
Job Duties:
• Plan, direct and oversee daily operations of both the finance and administrative departments, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Prepare and manage the company’s budget, working closely with department heads to allocate financial resources effectively.
• Lead, mentor, and manage department heads, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance within the organization.
• Ensure that all regulatory compliance procedures are followed, minimizing risk and aligning with industry standards.
• Oversee the organization’s record-keeping systems for both administrative and financial documents, ensuring data security and compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, to drive business growth and expand MPM’s reach.
• Optimize workflows for service delivery, including Webinars, Digital Products, and 1-on-1 coaching, to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of MPM’s service offerings, ensuring they remain competitive and responsive to the evolving needs of clients.
• Identify potential risks to the company’s operations and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s interests.
• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of operations and strategic initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and oversee administrative and financial staff, ensuring that tasks are appropriately delegated and that team members perform to their full potential.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the company, encouraging the exploration of new ideas and technologies to enhance MPM’s service delivery.
• Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and briefs on financial performance, operational efficiency, and key administrative updates.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to refine processes, improve efficiency, and deliver superior value to clients.
Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 30 hours of work per week

Salary: $78,000 annually
Vacation: 4%
Location of Work: Remote from the Ottawa area, occasional travel across Canada and to the United States is required

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, equivalent experience will also be considered
• 2-3+ years in relevant senior management experience in a similar role
• Strong ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direction;
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and customer service communication skills;
• Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills;
• Proactive thinker with demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement;
• Strong problem solving, analytical and conflict resolution skills;
• Ability to function effectively during periods of rapid change and transition;
• Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize competing priorities efficiently;
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners;
