Operation Research Analyst Job

Use mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to monitor and assess industrial production process including labor, cost, inventory, quality control, logistics and material flow that will assist management in making decisions and formulating/implementing policies and procedures. Develop optimal time-cost models through statistical and mathematical calculations by analyzing industrial production schedules, production costs, process flows, staffing requirements, and other information. Develop optimal logistics networks to minimize costs, increase inventory turns and reduce waste; research alternative supply chain and foreign supply chain options including tariff and landed cost analysis; analyze raw materials purchases, stock levels, and inventories. Provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations; assist in designing and implementing new procedures, process maps, scorecards and metrics; identify, analyze and review actual performance v. target performance. Track and regularly report progress to production plan/targets; identify problems and anticipate future issues that may impact ability to achieve goals; identify patterns and derive insights to improve operational efficiency and achieve key deliverables. Evaluate and adjust production plan, workflow, JIT system, and RFP process based on changing market conditions, new business opportunities, cost reduction measures, or other factors. Develop and maintain operations database (inventory, supplier, assets, quality control and compliance, standard operating procedures) within the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system; prepare management reports.

Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Management (Foreign equivalent degree accepted) Required. Two years of experience as Industrial Engineer, Financial Control Analyst/Manager or Operations Analyst is required.

SALARY range: $69,867.00 to $70,000.00 per year
