Job Description:
Ram Air Logistics Transportation Inc. is looking for One (1) Truck Driver-Supervisor to perform the following duties:
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of truck drivers and other transport vehicles
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
• Dispatch drivers and monitor routes to ensure schedules are met and to resolve operating problems
• Prepare work reports
Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $37.50 per hour
• 40 hours per week; Morning; Day; Evening; Overnight; Weekend; On call; Overtime
• Permanent, Full-Time
• Start date: immediately
Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of high school or equivalent experience
• Experience: Minimum experience of one (1) year as driver or operator of motor transport or ground transit equipment, 26-footer truck; D Licence and forklift driver certification an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence
